A Great War Military Medal group of five, awarded to Joseph William Leyton. In 1914 Joseph W. Leyton joined the 1st King's Dragoon Guards under the assumed name of William Glibert. Consequently the Military Medal is awarded to 6184 Pte. W. Gilbert 1/D Guards, while the 1914 Star, The Great War & Victory Medals and the India General Service 1908-1935 are awarded to 6184 Pte. J.W. Leyton, 1.K.D. Guards.
